Frances' impressive list of acting credits includes work in film, theatre,
television, radio and audio books.
She has put in superb performances for a number of IRDP productions: Bad
Vibrations by Paul Sirett, Six Green Doors by Alistair Roberts, Ellen
of Troy by Jo Kracmar, Clash of Honour, and most  recently in The
Sons of Catholic Gentlemen by Francis Beckett. Frances also worked with IRDP
director Tim Crook in a freelance production for BBC Radio 4 - playing the part
of 'Deep Husky Woman' in Anna Hashmi's Much Like Yourself, described by
BBC Senior Producer for Single Plays, Michael Earley, as "a really lovely
production in every way.....I thought it sounded superb."
Frances' film credits include: The Boxer, Monk Dawson, Half A Shave,
High Boot Benny, The Field, Lamb, Bullshot and Bellman and True.
Her television credits are numerous and include work for BBC TV, Granada,
Central TV, Carlton TV, Channel Four, TVS, Thames, and London Weekend

'Bright Through The Tears' - A Celebration of Irish Culture, Work, Perfect

Lytton's Diaries, Juno and the Paycock, Testament of Youth, The Strangers,
and many others.
Frances has worked extensively in the theatre. For the Royal Shakespeare
Company she has performed the following roles: Mrs Darling in Peter Pan,
Portia in The Merchant of Venice, Queen Elizabeth in Richard III
and Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream. At the Royal National Theatre,
she was  Maeve in Mutabilitie and La Paiva in Les Grandes
Horizontales. Frances has also worked in many other theatres including the
Hampstead Theatre; Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith; Abbey Theatre, Dublin; The Royal
Court Theatre in London and the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester.
Frances' voice features in a large number of readings for audio books,
mostly for Chivers Press, Reed Audiobooks and Harper Collins, and also in many
TV productions such as the BBC's Animated Tales of Shakespeare, various
poetry readings for National Poetry Week, Panorama, Songs of Praise and other
programmes for BBC and Channel Four.
Her work in radio includes not only her superb performances for IRDP, but
also many productions for BBC Radio: Words Apart, a 12 part series in
celebration of Irish culture for BBC Belfast, and a long list of productions for
the BBC's Radio 4 and Radio 3.
