The legend of Sweeney Todd, the demon barber of Fleet Street, is one of the most macabre stories of Old London. Sweeney Todd's barber shop was a death trap for unwary customers in need of a shave. With the cry "Down you go!", his barber's chair would swing into the floor - sending his victims crashing to the cellar below. His partner in crime, Mrs Lovett, then turned their bodies into meat pies. But even Sweeney Todd could not escape justice forever.....
