John Park was 
            brought up in London and Newcastle and now lives in London. Newcastle 
            University (briefly). Oxford Polytechnic (graduated, architecture). 
            Strathclyde University (masters). Worked as mechanic in London. Submitted 
            scripts for British Film Institute competitions. Made film 'Trailer' 
            shown at London Film-Makers' Cooperative Summer Show. Worked as architect 
            in Iraq during Iran-Iraq war, Ireland, Singapore, Malaysia and Germany. 
            First novel Tangerine Dad currently with agent. Met Frank 
            Johnson at college, where they edited the architecture student 
            magazine. They have written plays together, Charley From Outside, 
            The Levelling, So Long Dad. Drama agent - Bill McLean. Literary agent 
            - Guy Rose at Futerman, Rose Associates.
